In its continuous service to the Andhras, Andhra Association, like in earlier years, has decided to contribute for the development by awarding scholarships to the meritorious and poor telugu students residing in Delhi.
Merit Scholarships:
Merit Scholarships will be awarded to those telugu students who studied in schools in Delhi and secured highest marks in Class-X and Class-XII during the academic year 2009-10.
Telugu Students, who have studied in Delhi upto Class-XII and secured meritorious ranks in All India Entrance Examinations and free seats in prestigious institutions like IIT, IIM, etc., can also apply for the scholarships, if their parents are still residing in Delhi. Scholarship of Rs.10,000/- will be awarded to such students.
All the students applying for Merit Scholarships shall enclose an attested copy of Marks Sheet / Rank Card and a recent passport size Colour Photograph alongwith the duly filled in Scholarship Application in the prescribed proforma and send the same to the Andhra Association Office.
Scholarships for the Poor Students:
Telugu students, who studied in recognised schools in Delhi during the academic year 2009-10and having an income not more than Rs.2,00,000/- from all sources, will be eligible for awarding Poor Student Scholarships.
All the students applying for Poor Student Scholarships shall submit the duly filled-in Scholarship Application in the prescribed proforma including the Study Certificate and Income Certificate and enclose a recent passport size Colour Photograph and send the same to the Andhra Association Office. Income Certificate shall be attested by a Gazetted Officer or a Working Committee Member and the Study Certificate shall be signed by the Head of the Institution, where the student is currently studying in.
All the applications will be examined by a Selection Committee and the decision of the Working Committee of the Association will be final and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
